Knitting

I knitted a sweater 2 years ago, but couldn't be bothered to sew it up.
Did it yesterday - it is horrible!!
I followed the pattern and got the tension right, but it loks awful on, so it is in my charity shop bag. Someone might like it
Think I'll knit some scarves.

I know what you mean Rowan I bought that wool months ago, it finished up at the back of a cupboard, found it a couple of weeks before Christmas and had to work like hell, completed it only couple of days before they were coming over to bring pressies.

I've recently taken up the needles again, after many years. Just started with some nice simple scarves for little presents, using foxy, Boa shimmer, shabby chic wools, not all at the same time I hasten to add!! On my 5th one!! Think I'll make this my last and move onto something else!

I used to do a lot of knitting when was more involved with spinning but while I still have my spinning wheel I don't seem to have much time for it lately.
