My granddaughter asked me to knit something for one of her friends who has already had a miscarriage but is now well on the way with the second baby, which is a little girl.
I found enough yarn to do these below for her and Tami (granddaughter) tells me they have been in and out of the bag they were sent in umpteen times to show family and friends what an old lady of 80+ can still do.

I feel like a b****y relic.

Thanks Corrie.
I make a lot of my own patterns up out of a basic one.

My granddaughter (Tami) has just phoned thanking me for the phone case I have knitted her. Her Mum, my lovely d-i-l, posts something each week to her to give her something to look forward to because she is at Chester University. As I had already knitted the case I gave it my d-i-l to put in the goody bag.
Son and d-i-l going to visit Tami on Sunday and I have just finished a make up bag for her so they can take that with them too.
