My website

Postby dabthoms » Mon Oct 07, 2013 12:40 pm

I started my website shortly after I "retired" thinking I could perhaps compile a few pages while at the same time learning a bit more about computing in the process. It gradually grew in size and scope and I now get emails from over 200 different countries. Also extracts appear from time to time in various magazines, usually in America. The website has gone past 1,250,000 viewings I was astonished to see the other day. I must say it has certainly kept me occupied as well as keeping the grey matter on its toes!

Many thanks for posting the link to your website, Dabs, I found it very interesting since I have done a lot of leatherwork myself. I have bookmarked it to read in depth later and for future referenced.

Thought I'd better post an update about my website. After about 15 years as http://www.kingsmerecrafts.com providing details of how to do most things connected to handcrafted leatherwork
and although it had been visited by some 2,000,000 visitors I'd finally got fed up with emails from folks wanting to buy stuff when I'd made it very clear all I offered was information.
So I've begun again as http://www.kingsmerecrafts.info and it's mostly up and running, well I had it spidered the other day and so far I've indexed 165 pages so we're getting there!
Oh, and for those of you who are not familiar with West Mersea I recommend viewing the videos on Page 64.

Well done dabthoms; unfortunately I'm not getting many of the photographs just a picture of a piece of jigsaw.

That's, shall we say very interesting, Monika. What particular page was it this occurred? I've been through the site and cannot find anything amiss.

The pages are 64 and 65, dabthoms. There are some photos but there are also the ones with a blank piece of jigsaw on them.

Thanks Monika. Have checked them out and both are OK. Could be it's your make of browser some don't function the same as IE.
