A Pleasant Surprise.

Postby Maywalk » Tue Oct 04, 2016 3:58 pm

As most of you know I have knitted many things over the years and just passed them on to friends and neighbours. Strangely enough I seldom got to SEE the finished article on any babies that I have knitted for but when I put Facetime on the other morning what should I see but my neighbours lovely granddaughter in the out fit I had passed on to them just before I broke my hip in 2015. I got permission from the baby's mother to put the photo on here.
Isn't she a beautiful baby.

Aw Maisie ...... she is a little beauty and is a bobby dazzler in your handiwork.
If at first you don't succeed, sky diving isn't for you!

Yes I know what you mean about getting bulky stuff through the doors Pooh. That is one reason why I went to HSL and had mine made to my specification.I have not got a massive bungalow which I am more than happy about because of the upkeep and work to keep it up to scratch.
Anyway I hope you get a better nights sleep on them.
I have noticed that since I have put the 4th pillow on my bed and practically sitting up at night I am sleeping a bit better. Mind you I have my wheatbag wrapped around my neck every night which helps to ease the pain in my neck.
Talk about being knackered up.Sod this getting old business. :huffin:

I would give anything for one day without pain Pooh.
My son took me down the road for a little walk today on the stroller.
I was SO slow though a ruddy tortoise would have beaten me hands down if I was in a race with one.
I asked my son to take me while he was here because I need to get my weight bearing down on the damaged hip.
Will know more next week when I go for another Dexa scan.
