Two more- The Palladian Bridge (which is in the grounds of Prior Park College, Bath). I had not been painting long and I put this in the art section of the village flower show and to my surprise it was given first prize!

A change from the usual Christmas Card - Poinsettias!

Last two - 'an that's yer lot!

The first picture is a commission I did for a work colleague who was leaving Bath. She picked on this scene - and it was a pig to do! Not only was it front on which was not good, but it was covered with virginia creeper, and I did not have any idea how to do it. Anyway, this was the finished result and the 2nd photo is a close up which shows the foliage more.

Thanks everyone for being such a lovely and complimentary audience!

I'm absolutely agog at your talent, DL. There isn't one picture there I don't like.

That eagle is wonderful.

Monsy - I have emailed you the first picture. I had to reduce it to half size to get it to send. Hope it gets into your email OK. If you then put it into your photo editing suite and enlarge it by 200 it prints out on an A4 sheet and does not appear to have lost pixels on the way.

Rowan - do you want to keep this topic up for, say a month, then delete it? I am aware it must be using quite a lot of resources.

Whilst searching for the originals to re-scan and send to Monsy, I have found a load more. I will not put them up right now because I don't want to fell the Rowan Tree but, if Rowan or Oddquine like to remove this topic at the end of the month, I will post some more.

Thank you everyone for your kind words - they are giving me confidence to go ahead and paint some more!

Resources don't get used up as much with more threads with a few pictures, DL, as bandwidth only gets used when a thread is read.

You could stop posting pictures in this one, and start another one with some more.

About what you have on this one per thread would be OK.

Cracking paintings, by the way...........wish I had any kind of artistic talent!
