Have just put three of my watercolours into an exhibition. Don't suppose they will sell but not bothered. Its just nice to get them hung on the wall somehere and not stuck in a cupboard!

All brilliant pictures DL and the eagle is exceptional .

I cant say that I can fall over some of the well known artists paintings but full marks for yours because they really LOOK true to life.

I am no artist but I can appreciate the talents of others.

Have you ever had an exhibition of them? Just your paintings I mean?

Just come across this section D.L. Your paintings are soo lovely.
As you know I also paint in acrylic and watercolour.
Like me you like to paint in detail.
Sometimes I wish I could loosen up a bit.

Thanks everyone. You should see Topdog's paintings - he's fantastic!

I made Christmas Cards again this year and I put some for sale in the village shop. To my surprise and delight, I sold 9 of them. I have been asked to do some general cards for sale in the shop during the year, so I shall have to get going on that soon!

Right now I am struggling with a large painting in Acrylics. I don't get on with that so well, but I'm persevering, Mo! I think I got my paint a bit too thick and blobby in places and had to whip over it with a wet brush pretty quickly.

I just thought it would be good to work in a different media for a change!
