This is another photo I found with the one of the dancing shoes I have put in the Anything Goes section.

I used to be an avid knitter and whenever I finished a garment I would go out and buy a doll and dress it for charity. I cant grip the needles now.
Every time I knitted one hubby used to take a photo of it.

This one went in a raffle for the Childrens Hospice.

My auntie's mother in law used to do that Maisie - wasted on me because a doll was only for drawing on and cutting its hair!! The others loved them though!!

You used to see them a lot at Craft fairs and the like.

Daughter was going mad at wee one the other day because she had got her "Little Mermaid" doll's hair in a fankle. Until I reminded her how she had taken all her Barbies into the bath and shaved their heads with her Dad's razor.......you can imagine the stubbly mess!
