Forget about weight and indulge yourself.
No bake.
Chocolate and coffee cream.
4 oz fresh breadcrumbs
41/2 oz Demerera sugar
8 level tablespoons drinking chocolate
2 level tablespoons instant coffee powder ( granules see note)
3/4 pint whipping cream
Mix all dry ingredients.
Whip cream until fairly thick.
Spread some cream in the bottom of a clear glass dish
Put in a layer of dry ingredients
Then a layer of cream
repeat above leaving enough cream to put on the top.
Ends up with a striped effect.
Put in fridge to chill.
Excellent for same day or next.
Note. If you only have coffe granules, grind them until powdered.
