Thought as you like orangey things perhaps you would like this recipe, very simple and only takes a few minutes to prepare.

2 oranges..
4 oz sugar
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1 pint whisky (any cheap one will do)

Thinly peel the oranges.
Cut the rind into thin strips and place in a screw top jar.
Squeeze the juice.
Add to the jar with the sugar and coriander seeds.
Add the whisky and seal jar.
Give it a good shake to distribute.

Leave in a cool dark place for a month (more if you can bear it)
Shake jar occasionally.
Strain and bottle.

Enjoy. cheers Penny.

I don't like whisky, perhaps I could use another spirit?

*thinks about whereabouts of Oddie's rum*

I shall be running a tasting of home distilled spirits and liqueurs when Jill re-opens in her new shop on 7th June. You are all welcome!
(That should be pretty safe!)
