Chocolate crunch - no bake.

This is a delicious dish and so easy, specially for anyone who likes chocolate and not too keen on cooking. Very quick and easy.

2 tablespoons golden syrup
2 tablespoons castor sugar
2 tablespoons powdered milk
1 tablespoon cocoa
8 oz crushed rich tea biscuits (or any stale biscuits)
4 oz marg or butter
5 - 6 oz plain chocolate (any kind)

Put marg, sugar, golden syrup, caster sugar and powdered milk in a small saucepan and heat gently to melt butter. Mix all together and when melted add crushed biscuits.
Stir well to distribute mixture

Put mix in a swiss roll tin 12 x 8" and spread evenly.

leave to cool about half an hour.

Put broken chocolate in a basin with a little knob of butter or marg.
Put in micro on low and stir now and then until melted.

Spread over biscuit mixture and put in fridge for 1 hour.

Mark in 15 slices. Enjoy.

cheers Penny.
