Waste oil.

I expect most of you have your own method of getting rid of old grease and oil. I put mine in a container with a lid, at the moment it is an ovaltine caddy, and when it's full, seal it, put a note on (used oil) and the dustbin men are quite happy to take it away with the rubbish. cheers Penny.

I always keep an empty container with lid or cap and put it in the dustbin as we don't have any other instructions for disposing of it.

Pour your excess oil into a sand pile that you make in the garden somewhere. Then you can plunge garden spades/forks/trowels etc., into that and withdraw them. it puts a light coating of oil over them and protects them from rust.

After you've dipped them, then you put them in the shed penny.

Typical man Penny! If I had a garden area to myself I would certainly try it.
