I haven't seen Camp coffee in many years. It was loverly, my grandma used to make me a cup of cofee uysing this. I think it was a blend of coffee and chicory and you can get glycerine at the chemist (pharmacy). Glycerine and rose water is a good toner after a cleanser.

Yes, it is Rowan... I've used glycerine and rosewater in years past.

We have a coffee blend including chicory from Louisiana... I use it every so often....a typically Southern thing, but I like it. :):)

Rowan, the camp coffee is very much still available, I get mine from Sainsbury's. Very good for adding to home made icing and to flavour cakes etc. Hope you managed to get the glycerine Miriam. Made two bottles this week, one gone already. (hubby's drink not mine) Still prefer a good red wine.cheers Penny
