This is very simple, but very tasty.

Mix together =
4 oz cottage cheese
4 oz cheddar cheese, finey grated
1 small onion, finely grated.
1 tablespoon worcester sauce
3 drops tabasco sauce
4 oz single cream

Stir in 5 oz peeled prawns.(whole or chopped)

Serve with raw carrot chips or celery chips or crisps. (or anything that you choose)

Two sauces you could try with a salad.

Prawn Sauce (makes 1/2 pint)
1/2 oz butter or marg
1/2 oz plain flour
1/4 pint milk, hot.
1/4 pint fish stock
2 oz cooked prawns.
1 teaspoon lemon juice
cayenne papper.

Melt butter in a saucepan, add flour and cook 2 - 3 mins. stirring constantly and without letting flour brown.
Continue stirring adding milk and stock.
Bring gently to boil and simmer gently for 5 mins.
Add the prawns and lemon juice and season to taste with cayenne pepper.

Cucumber sauce (makes approx 3/4 pint)

3 oz butter or marge
1 cucumber sliced and seeds removed.
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 oz plain flour
1/2 pint water, Hot.

Melt butter in pan and fry cucumber and onion until browned.
Mix the flour into the water and add to the pan, stirring well until sauce thickens.
Cook gently for another 3 minutes

Hope these help, cheers Penny. :grouphug:
