This is very simple but very tasty, just right for Christmas.

8 oz digestive biscuits
4 oz butter (or soft marg)
1 tablespoon golden syrup
2 oz plain Scotbloc ( or any plain choc)
1 Dessert spoon granulated sugar

topping.
4 oz plain Scotbloc (or any plain choc.)

Method.
Crush biscuits ( in a plastic bag and bash with rolling pin)
Melt, butter, choc, syrup and sugar in a saucepan over a gentle heat.
When melted add crushed biscuits and stir well until all coated.
Put mix in greased shallow- 7" square tin

Melt topping choc in micro (or in basin over hot water)
Spread evenly over biscuit mixture and put in fridge.
Chill mixture in fridge for about 110 mins then before it is set, mark in slices roughly 1 x 3 inches. Approx 14.
Return to fridge and when fully set store in airtight container.

cheers Penny.
