Economy tights

Postby Penny » Thu Apr 10, 2008 1:45 pm

Don't know if I put this on before but thought about it this morning putting on my tights. I buy Pretty Polly, gusset free tights, all the same colour. When I get a ladder in a leg I cut it off and keep the good leg with top until another pair is treated the same way. That way I always get two pairs for the price of one. cheers Penny :grouphug:

A good tip there - tights are a pain in the neck for having one leg only laddered.

At school we just used to cut the laddered leg off an ordinary pair of tights and waited until you were able to match with another half pair, or turn one inside out to make a new pair. It did mean wearing two top parts though.

It still means wearing two top halves but without the gusset that's no problem. cheers Penny. :grouphug:
