5 oz marg
4 oz sugar
3 oz cornflakes (Lightly crushed)
2 tablespoons golden syrup
2 teaspoons boiling water
1 teaspoon bi-carb.

Topping (optional) a little melted chocolate.

Mix crushed cornflakes , flour, and sugar.
Melt the marg and syrup in a pan and add to the above.
Dissolve the bi-carb in the 2 teaspoons of boiling water and add to mix.
Stir all together or mix gently in food mixer.

Place rounded teaspoons of mixture on a greased tin and put in pre-heated oven.
150C 300F gas mark 2.
Approx 15 mins until golden brown.
Put on wire to cool

Optional,
When cold put dollop of melted chocolate in centre
