Simple Tasty Dip

6 tablespoons low-fat cream cheese, softened
3 tablespoons buttermilk (see note)
3 tablespoons chopped fresh spring onions or chives
11/2 tablespoons prepared horseradish (or more to taste)
11/2 teaspoons fresh chopped dill or parsley
salt and black pepper to taste

Put cream cheese in a small basin and gradually stir in buttermilk until smooth.
Add spring onions or chives, dill or parsley and horseradish,
mix well. Season.

NOTE' buttermilk can be made with 1 tblsp lemon juice or vinegar added to a cup of skimmed milk. OR
Equal parts low fat yoghurt and skimmed milk.

Allow this to stand 10 to 15 mins before using.
