Help ...Spider

Postby Rowan » Fri Aug 29, 2008 4:32 pm

I'm not afraid of spiders - am quite capable of lifting them safely and putting them outside but the woman next door is terrified of them and at the moment is not sleeping in her bedroom because of them. Does anybody know a humane way of getting shot of them and I'll pass it on. She does say she gets a lot of them, especially when she has windows open = I must say I don't have a problem - Max probably eats them before I see them!! He's busy at the moment stalking a Daddy Long Legs!!

Just put a jar over them and slip a card carefully underneath and put them out if you must, but to be honest they are harmless. You will never eradicate spiders.

That's all well and good Arfa, but if you are as frightened as this woman is she wouldn't be able to get that close.

I used to be terrified of Spiders, and can understand how she feels.

They don't bother me now....don't like them, but can live in harmony with them!

thanks Maisie - but I think that would be too expensive for her. Someone suggested ant powder so she is trying that tonight.
