Yorkshire Puddings

Postby Monika » Fri Oct 24, 2008 10:56 pm

After 52 years of marriage, I'm delighted to tell you that, at last, I can make beautiful Yorkshire Puddings; till now, this wonderful art had entirely bypassed me.

Sick and tired of turning out half-cooked flat-as-pancake 'things' I turned to the internet for the solution and - hey presto - a minor miracle occurred last Sunday lunch-time; my bosum fairly swelled with pride. Should have taken a picture

For anyone else on here with the same problem, I found the answer here:

I used a 4 pan Yorkshire Pudding tin and half the quantity of ingredients.
If at first you don't succeed, sky diving isn't for you!

Congratulations Monika - I love yorkshire puds. My friend used to mix up a bath every week for me (comes from Rotherham) and they were spectacular. I have to admit that nowadays I use Aunt Bessie's.

Good for you. The recipe is the same as the one I use except that I put 3/4 milk and 1/4 water. cheers Penny
