Had such a lot of grapes decided to try something different.
So tasty, and simple.

1 lb Red toms. sliced.
10 oz soft dark brown sugar
10 fl oz wine vinegar
2 oz chopped onion
2 oz sultanas
2 granny smith apples. peeled and chopped.
1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 tablespoon mustard seed
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/2 to 3/4 lb green seedless grapes. Halved if preferred.

METHOD,
Put first seven (7) items in a large pan
Stir well
Bring to boil
Reduce heat and simmer (uncovered) for 30 mins.

Add grapes and seasoning and stir well.
Cook uncovered for between 1 and 1 /12 hours, until mix thickens.

Put in sterilized jars when cooled. Seal

This keeps very well.

cheers Penny.

Not had time for a cooking session (knitting to blame!) but I will definitely try it.
