I know just what you mean Josie, I felt real proud of myself because I had succeeded to kick the weed, it was completely ignored by my Dr. when I annouced this because they had been telling me for years how bad it was for me. Now everything is too ruddy high and he has put me back on beta-blockers despite they are supposed to be withdrawing them from patients.

My friend who is 73 walks everywhere. She doesn't smoke and rarely drinks. She watches what she eats, and never ails for anything.

She had her cholestrol checked and it was 6.9. When she pointed all these other factors to the doctor, she was told it was her age!

So the moral of this story is to eat,drink and be merry tomorrow we may die :magnify:

They are now saying there is a link between high BP and Dementia, seems if you have high BP you are more prone to it. It is all these statistics again. :sad:

:roflmao: At least we can all forget to take our pills and get away with it!!

It will be a nightmare for the drug companys, also the GP's will not get their perks :evil:
