An update from me.

Postby DaisyB » Fri Jul 05, 2013 6:03 pm

Sorry to be short and sweet, these take an age to compose at the moment.

I feel I am taking one step forward and two back at times. Today I have a splitting headache, I think caused by bruising from the clamps they obviously used to steady my head. I had the clips removed on Wednesday, done by my practice nurse, so it was good to have a shoulder to cry on.
Yesterday we went to a nursery for a ride out and to get some more birdseed.
Today I washed my hair, was very scared, but did it gently so it feels clean although there is some blood and iodine left. Maybe tomorrow or the the day after I'll get it all out.
Tomorrow Steve, Emma and Arthur are visiting, so I have something to look forward to.

You're doing so well June.
I'm sure seeing Arthur will be a real tonic.
You've been through such a lot, so treat yourself kindly and take one day at a time xx

Just seen your posting June, I'm so pleased you are now on the mend after your dreadful scare and the horrid treatment to resolve it. I know how you feel finally getting your hair washed, makes us realise how we take the simplest things for granted.

But now look forward to a healthy future with Arthur filled fun times, that will be the best tonic in the world ((((HUGS))))
