Dita, thank you for the good wishes. I love that expression....having my mouth groggled with. :magnify: Even while it brings discomfort to mind!

Referrals to Oral Consultants 'are always fast-tracked' so it is claimed. The appointment letter should arrive early next week, to attend a few days later, at either an Oxford (Radcliffe, 20-odd miles away) or an Amersham hospital (10 miles away)

At least.....that is what should happen anyway!

I am off to the dentist tomorrow morning for a check up. I use Denplan - costs about £13.00 a month but I get excellent value for money. My appointment is at 8.20 which means I can go before work. The money I pay gives me 3 check ups plus 3 hygenist appointments, plus all treatment....so far. I can also get in same or next day if I have any problems. I consider myself lucky to have such a good practise here.
