Swim school....

We have an excellent sports centre in our Town,so as I am on a health kick,we applied for an oldies leisure pass with a view to begin swimming again....does anyone else swim,I would love to hear how you have got on....I can only just get by

I swim, am so happy today it looks like the kids are back at school, so we 'oldies' can go swimming again, have not been for 6 weeks, our pool is always full of kids, screaming and splashing, like to go at least once a week, I swim for about ½hr, [with breaks in between] and I find that is about 16/18 lengths,
feel better for it, but I do have a nice sleep when I get home

My husband goes swimming twice a week for the over 50's.

There are no people there under 50, which remains unchanged during the school holidays.

That's great Monika, we had a early morning time 8-9am, when it is over 50's, thats to early for me, we hope with all the complaining we do that they will give a slot to adults only during school holidays.

I can't swim, mainly because the method of teaching us to swim in primary school was to chuck you in!! It put me completely off it and now I haven't the lungs for swimming!

I do go to a nice gentle aquarobics class though.

An afternoon of swimming,well almost an hour was great,we really enjoyed it,hardly anyone in...can thoroughly recommend it....splash splash

I went today, great, kids back at school there was only 5 people in the pool.
