'Nothing Nasty' result (also on Anything Goes)

Postby vannin » Wed Nov 01, 2006 10:44 am

Just now, on the phone, I had the biopsy result of the tongue 'lump' excised three weeks ago. I was told it had become a semi-permanent inflamed swelling through a 'Trauma'.

This can mean a bite (but I would have known about biting my tongue THAT hard!) or friction by a denture. Well, I have a two-teeth denture on that side. Must see about changing it.

So, all's well.

It must be your denture, because you would know if you had bitten it!

Glad to hear it's going to be ok.

Thanks ladies! Well, I did go through a phase of biting my tongue in my sleep - obviously waking in the process - but that was during the stressful time of David's setbacks in late 2003/ early 2005. Too long ago, I'm thinking.

Btw Maisie, you have been going through a stressful time with Cliff's op and convalescence and I sincerely hope your own health is keeping OK as well as him making a good recovery.
