My fingers are well and truly crossed for you June. I am so sorry about this worry you have. I always console myself, in times like these, to remember that time soon passes, and it does. In the meanwhile I'll be thinking of you.

Hi! Daisy so sorry to hear about your health problem, although I am late in knowing because of me not getting on-line for a few days, I neverless want you to know my thoughts and good wishes are with you and I sincerely wish you good news when results are brought to light. :grouphug:

Well, I've given a few jars of blood for them to test and cross match, the ubiquitous urine specimen, had my blood pressure checked and an ECG. I've been through my medical history about 3 times. After much ummimg and aaahing they decided that I should have my insulin the night before, even though I shall have nothing to eat after 6am, but I mustn't take my blood thinning pills. (I am on a once a day, long acting insulin)

I have been told that if anything sinister is found, I will have to go back. The whole point of the operation on Monday will be to carry out a Histocytology and a D&C (had one of those already, a complete waste of time). Basically, the histocytology is to get material for biopsy.

So I'm really none the wiser yet.

Thanks Deja. I've now been told to get to hospital at 8am instead of 11.30am, as they need to monitor my sugar levels
