At Last

the letter arrived this morning from my consultant to say that the polyps he removed were benign and also the curettings from my endometrium were innocent.....NO CANCER, someone loves me.

Thanks ladies, it's certainly lifted that dark cloud above me.
(but just what is causing me to be constantly bleeding?)

June that doesnt seem right, what you have put in minute print, under your posting.

What does your doctor say about it.? Are you still going through the menopause?

I have no idea Maisie, I cannot even know if I've come through the menopause with all the intermittant bleeding I've had for the past two or more years. I'm 57, it should all be behind me shouldn't it?

I too was 57 and had similar 'intermittants'. A hysteroscopy found there were polyps which were snipped away, but it continued slightly. Finally it turned out to be a 'slight' prolapse, and this was manually adjusted during examination. No further trouble............except for a rupture of the episiotomy scar from my last child's birth 30 years before. :roll: It happened during the Hysteroscopy. But at least I knew what it was!

This finally healed and I have refused any smear tests since then, explaining the reason why (not wanting any more ruptures)

Yippee and Congratulations on it being benign!! Can't say how relieved I am to hear this news.

As for the smaller writing - it could be the polyps - they can be easily irritated. Ask your doctor for more information on this, itas the least he can do is explain things to you.

The polyps has been cut out Rowan and I'd have thought the bleeding would have stopped by now. The swab and urine tests were also clear. I stop bleeding for a day then start again. I wish I had shares in sanpro.
