Excellent Daisy. A great idea - cos men aren't so good at checking themselves out.

Last year my 25 year old brother had just come out of hospital with a serious case of crohns and all the complications that went with it. On Christmas day the whole family was grateful he seemed to be picking up and looking better, unknown to us he had discovered a lump and after a visit to the doctors to get it checked was sent for an immediate scan. Thank goodness he was, within three weeks he had been operated on for testicular cancer and receiving a strong course of chemo. Rob was very ill, he still hadn't recovered from his other illness but he always had a smile for everyone even when two other family members died of cancer and he must of felt very depressed at times. He has now just started back at work although with difficulty because he works on the phone and the chemo has left him partially deaf but he is scanned regulary now and everything looks good. He is now supporting me through my divorce and acting as a big brother to my son. Always get any lumps checked out straight away and young men 15-35 are more prone to this cancer. The earlier this cancer is caught the better the chances are you will be cured. This website helped me and I would recommend it to all young boys and men.

Glad your brother's doing well Sue, I'm sure his positive attitude is better than any medicine and as for your divorce ..... well just look at it as having another sort of LUMP removed :rolleye11:
