And it gets better! :-(

Postby DaisyB » Tue Jun 19, 2007 1:21 pm

I had another appointment with Mr Larsen-Disney this morning (my consultant gynaecologist) and guess what. I have to go through another hystoscopy and D&C, same as I had in January.. He cannot understand why I am still bleeding.

I asked why I couldn't just have a hysterectomy given that he told me I'm a prime candidate for uterine cancer and return of polyps. He explained that being diabetic made it far more dangerous to me than non diabetic ladies, as diabetics heal much slower and are more prone to infection. (Like my cellulitis on my leg at present).

So I await another letter calling me back into hospital, hey ho.

No wonder my doc has told me I'm depressed.

Thanks Ladies. Ann last time I had a spinal block and I will be again. It's not the same as an epidural, but whatever, it's not very nice.

Oh June what a pity...you must be so tired with all that bleeding. the best of luck this time though that they will be able to sort it out for you.
