Here I am feeling battered and weak

Health issues

Good golly - you really went through it, didn't you?
Now the better weather is here ( for a while at least) and that should make you feel brighter too.
HRT doesn't automatically mean weight gain. My friend has been taking it for 8 years, after a hysterectomy, and she has stayed at her usual weight.
Glad to hear you are well over the worst of times, and you will be getting stronger every day.

Thank you all for your kind comments. Rowan I am also type 2 diabetic but now insulin dependant.
Not feeling so good today, feel very hot and headachey....hormonal maybe?
I desperately want a shower but the district nurse says no, not whilst I still have a dressing over my wound.

Thanks Dita and Penny, I'm slowly getting there. I just wish my brain would cooperate with me, my concentration is dreadful.

I understand that 'alternative' HRT, based on plants that 'mimic' hormones, is well tried and tested, with none of the side effects associated with ordinary HRT.

Health shops have a range of products, based on different plants, for different times in life. I have heard very good comments about them.
