Painful seat

Postby Penny » Wed May 28, 2008 7:08 pm

For the last 2 or 3 weeks I feel as tho' I have been kicked in the rear. Worse when I have been sitting down. Very painful and feels like I'm bruised badly. Any ideas. Hate going to the docs. cheers Penny.

No, not boil or anything like that. The ache is right across my pelvis. Just as though I have been sitting on a hard bench for a fortnight. cheers Penny.

Might be you've damaged a muscle without realising it Penny. Have it checked out - I remember falling down some stone steps carrying a huge pot of soup - landed on my bum and was sore for weeks. Turns out it was a bruised coccyx (tailbone). Didn't spill much odf the soup though!!

Don't think so Rowan, it's not in the centre it's across the two bottoms pieces, only way I can describe them is the two bits of bottom I sit on at the top of my legs. Wretchedly painful whenI stand up. cheers Penny

Could be. Also wondered if it could be anything to do with sitting on a hard chair. My grandson had his birthday party at Activity Land a couple of weeks ago and I sat on a hard seat for two hours. Not normally used to sittingd down for long, let alone on a hard seat. Time will tell. Have to wait and see. cheers Penny

It sounds like you could have trapped a nerve Penny after the hard seat, do you know a good masseur? (sp) they could probably sort it out be massaging the pressure points

Must get my book out on accupressure. Will be funny massaging and pinching various parts of my rear end. Must make sure I am not overlooked. :roflmao: :grouphug: cheers Penny

Sorry Dita, I do hope I have not passed it on. Very painful isn't it. I am not into tablets but this morning before cleaning my bathroom I took a paracetamol? no improvement yet and that's two hours ago. Let me know if you find out any way of getting rid of or at least easing the pain. cheers Penny
