Has anyone had the injection for this?

I have had a letter from my surgery to ask if I want to have it done and just wondered if there were any after effects.
I have already had the usual one that is available every year but I am a bit wary of the swine flu injection.

My OH was offered it, but he didn't bother, probably influenced by the fact that I had Swine Flu and he didn't catch it (probably because because he gave me an even wider berth than usual)

I have been invited to have one next week, seemingly because of my diabetes. Not sure whether I should take it or not, hubby had his with no ill effects.
Worried because I had chemo last year. My friend is undergoing chemo no and has been given conflicting advice by her doctors. What to do!!!

I think you should JJ, I know in most people its not a serious illness but in those of us with underlying health problems it can be a killer. Better safe than sorry.
