Apologies..............

Postby Maywalk » Sun May 02, 2010 10:27 am

for not calling in more often over the past few days but I passed out last Wednesday and finished up in hospital because the paramedics could not bring me round. I have badly bruised my right side but nothing broken thank goodness. They cant seem to find out what is wrong so they are making an appointment for me at Glenfields to have my heart monitored.
Will call in when I feel better.
Take care and God Bless All.
Maisie.

Maisie, very sorry to hear about this, what a shock passing out like that. Just concentrate on resting, and good luck with the Glenfields appointment.
God Bless

Oh Maisie, how very scarey for you. Hope you are feeling a bit better now and the quicker you get the heart monitoring done the better. Get well soon.

Thanks everyone.
That is the second blackout that I have had in April and it certainly made me wary of going out on my own.
I will have to wait now for the appointment to come through from the hospital and that could take ages.
Ah well!!!!!!! at least its got the ball rolling with me finishing up in the hospital.

They have to find out why Maisie - we can't have you passing out all over the place. :grouphug:

Thanks folks.
This is the last thing I wanted to happen because I was just organising a nice meal out with family and friends for the 19th of May. I will be 80yrs old and my lovely d-i-l will be 54yrs old on the same day.
I still have a lot of pain where I fell across the chair but the bruising has started to come out now and I am hoping that the pain might ease off once that is fully out. :dunno:

Many thanks Dita.
Its still very painful to breathe in or to reach for anything or to even hold anything a little bit heavy but there are folks a darn sight worse off than me. I am lucky compared to some.

I've only just seen this, Maisie, and I'm very, very sorry to hear you've passed out again.

Hopefully, this time they'll find out what has caused it. In the meantime, take real good care of yourself.

Many thanks Monika.

I think what has really upset me is that my family dont want me left on my own at any time just in case it happens again.
They do have a valid point and its even put me off going out for a walk because I get no warning that its going to happen.
I used to pass out when I was a young girl BUT I always had a warning but with this I just black out.
Fingers crossed that I wont have to wait too long before I get an appointment through from the heart hospital.
