Batley has this amazing Twin Chapels, I believe one side is for Christians and the other for any other religion etc.

But more amazingly we have a replica pair just a mile away at Heckmondwike, which has been left to mother nature to turn to dereliction.

That's a new angle, arfa (first picture) - a church that doesn't think it's exclusively right, but reminds us that we are all God's children. I like that.

Perhaps if all churches and chapels were built in large complexes, it would help stop our aimless, stupid wars.

The second picture is quite beautiful, I think.

Didn't know such churches existed - what a good idea.
Great photos...as always.

I forgot to add that they are not in use as churches anymore, the Batley See Here
and the Heckmondwike one is apparently looking for someone to save it, which I don't think will happen, it needs all of at least £6 million.
Both cemeteries however are still used, part for Christians, Muslims, Poles and Jews.
It is very interesting if you are a gravestone reader.
Apparently there is a Twin Chapel at Huddersfield too,See Here

Arthur belongs to the same photography forum as I do and his first photo was judged to be the favourite of the month by all the members. Well done Arthur. :sunglasses:
