Autumn in the suburbs

Apologies for some of these images being so small but I haven't been able to persuade the BB editing screen to accept larger ones.
This was taken on the road near Richmond-upon-Thames about 2 weeks ago:
A local recreation ground:
Outside the Tesco supermarket:
This road is called Green Lane - currently many other colours as well!
I think these trees must make the inside of the house seem very dark but, just now, they're a delight to passers-by:
At the weekend, I noticed the little pavement trees in an adjacent road were a gorgeous shade of red and made up my mind to take some pictures when it stopped raining. Today, it was dry but, alas, most of the lovely red leaves are on the ground:
...while the little trees are sad and naked:
And finally ... this one's at the bottom of my garden. In all the 30+ years I've lived here, I think this is the most beautiful it's ever looked.
