Thanks for sharing them Maisie. Didn't she look stunning. I loved your hat, and the cake was wonderful! Such a special day and you and Cliff looked very happy and proud. So pleased for you.

What beautiful photos Maisie. When my daughter married (ten years ago) she had a similar hair ornament instead of veil. You granddaughter and the bridesmaids are all beautiful girls, you and Cliff look great too. Not forgetting you new grandson-in-law!

Many thanks Vannin.
It doesn't seem five minutes since she was a little girl and there is a VERY close bond between us.
I wrote this poem that was read out at the ceremony and had quite a few folks coming to me hugging me and saying it brought a tear to their eyes. By the time everyone had done that my hat was all over the place and I looked piddled up even before the main toast.
"Betsy" mentioned in the poem was our Ford Classic Car and we bought another Sooty for her instead of a horseshoe and put the little horseshoe from her parents wedding day on a bit of ribbon round his neck the same colour as the bridesmaids dresses. She was over the moon

It seems like yesterday when our only grandchild made her debut
And when a serious illness struck which "Thank God" she pulled through
Taking her walks in the park to watch the ducks and go on the swings
Plus taking her in "Betsy" to various venues and many other things.
Wherever we went or whatever we did "Sooty" was always there
Now she and Sam are to be married and they have a life to share.
Thankyou Tami for all the years of pleasure you have given us.
Now we have a super "grandson by marriage" who is an extra plus.
We wish you a wonderful married life which will have ups and downs
There will also be great times of happiness as well as many frowns.
Remember that you are both well loved by us and we are happy to say
That we have lived long enough to share your extra special day.
Thankyou for the love given from the best granddaughter to be had
God Bless you both and lots of hugs from Grandma and Granddad.

Thanks Hazel and Dita.
It was a super day weatherwise apart from the lovely wedding venue.
We are SO very proud of Tam and Sam because they have worked hard since leaving Uni and got their deposit together for their house. They have been together since schooldays so they should know each other well.

Thanks for sharing - what a very handsome couple they are and I absolutely love her dress - and no veil to obscure the hair-do and her happy face. The cake is great, too. :)

Yes Tami looked radiant and they make a lovely couple and it reallywas a memorable day.
They brought Oscar their dog with them and here he is doing one of his obedience lessons with the chew balanced on his paw.
