Kuriwhakapapa Park

A lovely natural park with real 'bush' (which in NZ terminology means rough natural vegetation). Only birds singing and streams gurgling. Old trees and ferns.

Beautiful photos, CD. They remind me of many areas here in Australia which isn’t really surprising since we are so close to NZ. :sunglasses:

There are a lot of places in Australia that I remember with great nostalgia, particularly up in Queensland. It seems so long ago (1961) although we did visit Sydney in 2007 and enjoyed it.

Those pics are beautiful , and very much like some places in western Australia where I have been, but sadly not NZ. Yet. xx

Well Andere think of it from kuri = dog, whakapapa= family history. So maybe a dogs family, (don't ask me why! :mrgreen:
