New Quiz

Do it and give your scores here......and good luck!

I think, at 297 it is the warning of what happens when you reach 300. It applies only to the Quizzes other than Global Challenge which continues till they suddenly withdraw the current phase to RESET and start a new Global Challenge.

When that happened before, I had just reached Newtonians level. :tantrum2:

Today I tried all morning to get into 'our' Quiz. I could get the first screen, but it wouldn't let me into the questions. Finally at 12.45, I got in, answered the quiz - 64 seconds - then I was timed as thousands of seconds plus sixty-four! :tantrum2:

In Global Challenge too, it either froze in between pages or just wouldn't open up the quizzes.

And this is their Get-Out Clause!
"Occasionally either our server or your connection will glitch and cause you to take extremely long answer times, serve up no questions, or do something else that's irritating.
Unfortunately, our policy is not to alter scores in any way after such problems. It simply opens up a can of worms".

Yes, and it maddens me when, after clicking 'Submit' it just sits there for ages. Then I click again, against better judgement but wanting to see the result and corrections. Then the screen goes blank but for the terse message 'You have already taken part in this game'. :tantrum2:

It all depends on who played first.

As Rowan played first, she claims the 6 points. It's happened to me in the past but as I am always late in playing, I've been second fiddle (so to speak) at least twice to date.

The site doesn't do joint winners.

Now hear this - I am putting a password on the game because we are getting so many strangers. To keep on playing we will need the password, pm me for the password, then I'll put it on. Won't do anything until I've heard from everyone on here.

The thing is these people are coming in from everywhere now and it IS a private quiz. They don't have profiles, they could be the same person. I know that a few were invited by a member on here but surely not the three latest. I have had complaints about this so I want to do something about it.
