Good While it Lasted

I've enjoyed playing the Daily Quiz and looked forward to it most days.
However, for the past few weeks, I've been finding it frustrating as a pop-up suddenly does just that (pops up I mean) and my screen freezes. It was about 20 seconds yesterday after submitting my answers making little point in playing at all.
So, I'm sorry vannin and mazzy but I'm just going to have to leave you to it - otherwise I'll turn into a real grouch.
It really is a shame though.

As I said, I am sorry to leave the quiz, but there is no point playing when you're being handicapped by this pop-up every time.
I don't know how to get rid of it and I suspect that there is nothing I can do about it.
It only started coming on about 2 weeks ago and I think I'll keep going and having a look as it may well go away in time and, if so, I'll be happy to come back. (I shall miss it)
It only appears on that one page; it doesn't come on on this page nor any other place on my computer and I have tried waiting until it's loaded itself but it's not consistent and messes me about, freezing up my computer at different stages of my visits.
Sorry, cos as you say it would be really nice if more folks played.

Monika have you got a pop up blocker if so is it switched on?

Yes, Tony, I've got a pop-up blocker and on but this pop-up (Re: Credit Score) is the only one that gets through.
When it first happened, my virus checker (done weekly on Fridays) said there was a possibly unwanted program (Adware) and I chose it to be deleted and I had thought that that was related to this damn thing - never having had this Adware on before.
I really can't find a way of getting rid of this it is SO ANNOYING.

I've got Ad-Aware it's never caused any problems and has saved me some grief over the years.
Monika perhaps Oddie or Clevewyn can help?

Hi Viv I just find all the Yank TV and so forth questions a bit of a turn off that's why I stopped before. Still I will have a go now and again but probably not every day.
