I don't like May....

I don't like May - it's sad you see
Too many memories crowd in on me.
Some happy times there were, I know
But oh the sadness, can't let go.

A little girl with flowers fair
Running home, with tousled hair -
Mummy, Ive brought flowers, see-
Take them out, they're unlucky for me.

Was that when May became so bad,
A little girl who had been quite glad.

Years move on, still only a child,
She got it wrong , she wasn't wild.
And on that sunny day in May
They took her precious baby away.

So on the years go, with heavy heart,
She just got on, made a new start.

And so to the day, 5 years ago
Goodbye, Mum, I love you so.

They each left her in different ways,
She'll remember them to the end of her days.

May isn't good for me either - I'm always glad when its over. Forgetting isn't an option though. Thinking of you Mazzy. :bighugs: :worryrose:
