January Sales

January Sales

:groaner:
I was dragged out to the January sales
Alleged bargains on every floor,
The Mall was crowded with eager folk
Maxing out credit cards like ne'er before
Snatching, grabbing, breathing fire
Then stand in line at the till
With prominent display of discount tickets
Thus concluding, the Season of Good Will.

The counters were in such disarray
But still the bargain hunters fought
Piling goods in their shopping carts
Not quite sure what they had bought.
No Refunds, and No Exchange
Was the order of the day
Once it had been entered into the till
Your last free choice was...... pay!........... :now:
