Well Drunk

Well Drunk

I don't drink anymore, strictly teetotal for the last 8 years, but when I did I did, and I just knocked it on the head over night. Well I was sitting here thinking about it when I wrote this.

Well Drunk

Twenty pints a night sometimes more,
And they never throw me out the door.
Never spill a drop, and am always stable,
Sometimes will find me under the table.

Come tomorrow lunch another good filling,
Another fifteen more without any spilling.
Because of the new law I am in the garden,
A lot of good burps and occasional pardon.

It’s not a bad living to get filled for free,
In the public house every night on a spree.
Take as many pints I like never on my ass
Because I am just an humble pint glass.

If I am wrong and there is nothing, then it will not matter....if there is 'something' then I am not afraid.
