How's about

Postby Oddquine » Thu Jun 16, 2005 9:58 pm

If you have psp or photoshop or some such graphics programme, and fancy playing with it, How's about I (or anyone) attaches something on here for you to do something with- a picture, a container, a frame- anything you can manipulate or add to and make your own.

Try doing something to/with this one for a start?

Why not - I can screw anything up!

Good idea. I am a real novice, I know it's on the PC, but it just looks good there is all!

Nothing wrong with that above - for a first attempt.

The help file with PSP isn't bad, Orchidea. You should learn to work with layers first as that let's you add things to pictures etc.

And before working on a gif, increase the colours to 16 million. You can do more fiddling with it then.

A suggestion - if you open the gif in psp, and click on Image/palette/view transparency, the white should disappear.
Save the bowl as a psp image, and the background will stay transparent so you can layer things on top or behind.
Or you can save it as a tube so you have it in a kind of library.

Then you can do things like

What a brilliant idea, Oddie.

Right - I have had a go.
Couldn't get the background to save as transparent though!!!
Your way of doing it doesn't work on PSP 7.
I got the bowl, and put it on a transparent background. But you see what happened as soon as I saved it!!!
