I always have a glass of red wine with my evening meal and sometime a gin and tonic or vodka and orange, had a vodka tonight as I have just lost another friend, she died in hospital this morning, a bit sudden, but she had cancer and treatment last year, and it came back in her liver and she said she was not going through the treatment again, but I thought she was going to be with us a bit longer.
Just feel I have more friends dead than alive, suppose that comes with age.

Sorry to hear about your friend,Widget.

I am pleased that you also have a nightcap,Widget, sorry if you thought I was being nosy.I have been out to a get together this afternoon but I didn't like the wine.So I had a lemonade instead. Will pour a glass of Hock wine soon.

Morning all. Not very bright and very cold. Perhaps a good idea would be to pop the bottle inside a cup and forward it to us. I am sure we would enjoy it. Big hug for Rosie. Hope your other half is keeping well. Just starting to rain here. Take care. cheers.

Rained all night for the first time in months. Rosie had to wear a coat when she went out for her "OTG", (On The Grass) this morning. She had her breakfast at about 6am. She was starving! Hadn't eaten since the last time! :-)
