I have'nt done anything exciting this weekend.

Very cold here today, been for my swim but was pleased to get home and stay there in the warm,
As for the puzzle I have given up, don't often do that but this one had very small pieces and the edge had a blue boarder which was hard to fit. Did not buy it, won it in a raffle, might go back in one. Now started a nice one, bigger pieces and a nice picture.

Good morning Widget.Although the weather is dry outside it is not very warm.I am cold indoors today. Will have to run up and down the stairs in a while.
I don't have central heating here, just electric radiators that soon go cold when turned off.

I often put a puzzle back in the box if I find I can't get the outside of the puzzle started.I do like the puzzles with bigger pieces now as they are easier to pick up if your fingers are dodgy now.

I have got a hearing test at the end of the month to see if I need hearing aids, that will please my daughter if I do.

Going to do a shop on line next for delivery tomorrow.Have a lovely day doing your puzzle. :roflmao:

Hope you are keeping warm maggie, also careful running up and down stairs, I live in bungalow so got no stairs.
Started a nice puzzle last night, nice picture but a lot of flowered bushes.

Off to my linedance group this morning, should keep me warm.

I have hearing problems, have an NHS hearing aid, got it from the hospital you have to be referred by Doctor, and most Dr like to refer you to an optician, where I find they want to sell you one of these, it might be to late for you but if your appointment is at opticians be careful, you can pay a lot of money for the same thing, my ones from the hospital I can adjust with am app on my Smartphone, they also have mobile vans come round where they can clean and adjust them also free batteries. Good luck be interested to 'hear' how you get on.

It has felt warmer outside today,I went to the doctors to make a appointment to have my ears syringed ready for my hearing test next week. While I was nearby I called into my sisters. Then coming home I had a nice walk as I missed the bus.But it was lovely walking.

I have been referred from my doctor for a hearing test at our drs surgery and will also have hearing aids from the NHS.I can't afford to go private.

Do the aids take much getting used to Widget?

My jigsaw puzzle is the Florist and there is lots of flowers in it.I done quite a lot of it yesterday.Have a nice evening.

Just got back from town, it is cold, glad I am in for rest of day.

Depending on what type of ear piece you have, I have the mould, its a bit big but I soon got use to it, I did have once the very small ear piece, ok, but it does take time to adjust your self to all the strange noises, turning the tap on sounds like a water fall, and you have to have the TV turned down a bit. good luck.

Good morning from a windy Kent will be even windier this afternoon.I am in all day today for a rest. :roflmao:

I have a busy week ahead to look forward too.I had a scan a couple of weeks ago and was told on Friday that I have gallstones,it was either Gallstones or a Hernia they were looking for.Could have done without either.

I have lost my get up and go since I got up this morning. There is only me here so doesn't really matter if I just sit and do my puzzle all day.

After I have been to the doctors on Wednesday I am going bowling with my grandson and daughter in law. Then to Taco bell to eat.

Hope you are well,Widget and having a lazy Sunday.

Still cold here and had some rain, been swimming but nice and warm now,

I had my gall bladder out way back in the mid 80's keyhole surgery, think I stayed in overnight, but think today you are in and out in a day, only have to watch if I eat too much chocolate or rich pastry, but remember just after I had it done I had to watch out not to eat too much fat foods. Hiatus Hernia I've got as well, just keep taking a pill a day, good luck with it all.

Hope you like bowling, I take it, it is ten pin bowling,

Off to get something to eat and have a nice long sit down then do so more puzzle.
Keep warm.

Good afternoon on this lovely dry sunny day we have.I have had a busy few days felt like I was living at the drs surgery. :roflmao:

I had my hearing test this morning and will be having hearing aids in about 2 weeks time. They are NHS and they are just as nice as private ones,so long as I can hear better after thats all that matters.

I went out lastnight after being to the drs surgery again  We didn't go bowling I got the message wrong. We went to the arcade and snooker inside the Hollywood Bowling Area.

I brought 2 new pillows for my bed a while ago,but they are so puffed up that I am taking the stuffing out of them,to make them a bit flatter.

It is lovely now the nights are getting darker later.I hate the dark nights.

Will be anxious to hear about your hearing aids, hope they work out alright. Sounds fun Hollywood bowling area.

I keep saying I would like new pillows, but never get round to it.
Finished my last puzzle last night starting a new on after fish and chips.

Lovely day here again weather wise.I went to the local co op this morning in the bright sunshine,it was white frost in places but it didnt bother me.

I have been busy filling my plastic boxes up,found a few puzzles that I never knew I had,Hopefully this week I will have time to sit and do my latest puzzle.

Checking my emails just now and I see Royal Mail are delivering here this afternoon,I best not nod off then. :roflmao:

There is a house that I look out on,they have had scaffolding up since end of May last year,I will be glad now when it is removed. They have finished the work they were doing ages ago.And moved all the scaffolding from the front of the house.

Have a jolly afternoon and I will be back soon.Widget.

Glad you are ok and your delivery came ok, I'm fine but could not go swimming yesterday we are having a lot of power cuts around her and the swimming pool had one so could not open till very late.

I saw this puzzle and thought must have, I have done a few of these 3D puzzles in the past but this one is more fiddlerly, but will finish it perhaps by the end of the week.

Still cold but of to my exercise class this morning, only 3/4 hour,

Good evening Widget.I was looking atyour jigsaw that you are doing. There are quite a lot like that on Amazon.I am going to treat myself to one as can use it after if its a vase.

They are rather expensive especially with delivery costs.

Well tomorrow afternoon I am being fitted with my hearing aids.I thought I had to wait 2 weeks. I will let you know how I get on with them.

I am going into bed with a headset on so I can't hear the awful loud music from someones flat.Itwas bad enough my nieghbours bathing early hours 1.30 am then again at 2.15 am.Their bathroom backs onto my bedroom.
