I have had a few garden ornaments and a lovely glass birdbath, also a silver wind-chime which is going by the front door.

Enjoy the weekend

Hi I'm fine here, just waiting for warmer dryer weather,
Just done the usual, exercise class, carpet bowls, swim.
Bought a new garden table this week, when daughter came we had a look at it in the box, flat pack, not in a hurry to put it together, but looks nice.
Started a new jigsaw, all different photos of Royal Family stuff, looks good but only started it today.
Looking forward to Friday as going with friend for afternoon tea, to a place I have never been before so I am hoping it is OK, will try and get some photos for you. I do like afternoon tea, no hurry to eat it, and what's left over you can take home.
Have a good week all, will keep in touch.

Wow that looked good, and a lot of cakes bet you were full after sandwiches too.
I haven't been for a cream tea before, I wouldn't eat a lot so be a waste of time.
Yesterday was a good day weather-wise so out into the garden we went I chopped lots of bushes down, hubby sat and weeded all the pots and barrels ready to be planted up again shortly.
We have got lots of ivy weed to get rid off on the garden,so we are having a revamp soon.
I Have seen you can use salt, applecider vinegar and washing up liquid to get rid of it,so will give it a go..
I am still doing crocheting keep watching videos on you tube soon be an expert lol..

Had trouble getting in here this evening, but OK now, it has been very windy here today, unlike yesterday when I thought spring was at last here, never two days the same.
Here is my latest jigsaw, 2 pieces missing,

Goodmorning Widget,
All is well here,I have just done bedroom chores, windows open as a lovely sunny day.
Binmen have been and taken all my cardboard, we have new recycle next month, cardboard and paper going in with jars etc.
I am making a solution up and spray the ivy that's taken over the garden like wildflower.

Hopefully the weather is good at the weekend and I can continue weeding.
My plan is to be crocheting in the summerhouse from 2pm today.
I had a nice mothers day meal with daughter too,and a bunch of flowers.
We went on our walk with our walking group yesterday, nice bunch of people.
Enjoy your gardening at the weekend.

Weather is getting me down, last saturday I out a chair and sat in garden yesterday i put an extra jumper on, today the sun is out but still not very warm, but will do a bit in the garden later.
Did you watch Martin Clunes in Hue Edwards 'thing' hard to watch, but the acting of Martin was brilliant.
I am doing a Wasjig puzzle at the moment and it must be the hardest I have done, seems to be taking me ages.
Am out to lunch tuesday with friends so watch out for photos on what I have eaten,

Hi Widget we had hailstones yesterday afternoon.
I was in the summerhouse crocheting, it came over rather dark and down it came for 10 minutes and then the sun came out after a while but was rather cold.
It's dry today but still chilly and have the heating on.
Dinner is cooking in airfryer and slowcooker and having a easy day.
Wonder if you managed to do any gardening today.
Enjoy your meal out.

I've gone back to our normal part of the board, so hope you can keep up!!!
Weather strange here, not to bad, sometimes very hot but have just turned heating on.
Have been busy as usual, but now have a weekend to myself, but hope daughter comes round to help me get my new garden table out, we put it together last week and I have given it a coat of teak oil and now I think it is time it went out in the garden.
Went to garden centre in the week and bought some Spring Onion plants, beetroots coming on well in greenhouse, soon be ready to go out, tomatoes doing well,
Our bowls green opens next saturday, so expect it will be wet and cold.
Am doing a really hard jigsaw at the moment so better get on with it.
Enjoy your weekend whatever you are doing.
