Oh sorry didn't realise it was 4 days since I last posted here. The days are going too quick. It is a lot cooler now thank goodness.
I went out to see a friend yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours that was the first time i had been out since last Tuesday. We are going shopping tomorrow so I hope its still cooler weather.

My grandson is doing a 10 mile walk on Thursday with his school so hope it is a cooler day for him.I know he is looking forward to it.

I have cut my coffee intake down to 2 a day so roll on 3pm.Used to have one 8.30,11am and 3 pm.Then drink water at other times.

Hope everyone is enjoying their day.

Did a 'big' shopping today, went to Waitrose, spent a lot!!! then went to Iceland, tuesdays is 'old peoples' day you get 10% off so with the offers as well on my £50 odd bill I got just under £10 off, so cupboard full freezer full,
Had a windy bowls match yesterday, have another one tomorrow,

Another game of bowls which turned out very hot,
As for hearing aids, I dont really know, I have the mould ones but would like the smaller ones and was wondering if I went back to hospital if they can change them. Strange thing happened today with them, as I said it turned out very hot and I was sweating a lot and perspiration from my head got into my ears and my aids did not work. Never had that before, all OK now.

You have certainly got patience for hard puzzles Widget, more than me.It would have gone back in the box after a week.

I have got most of my puzzle done apart from 2 grey cats. :dunno:

Went down to see my daughter today in between her working hours as she works from home.Must see how my grandson done on his 10 mile walk today later.Lot cooler today with the wind blowing.

I will ask google about buying new domes for aids, although I don't know a number I will need to look for.Battery is 13.

Enjoy your Friday evening out tomorrow Widget.

Good afternoon on a hot day.Has been hot all weekend though.I hope its cooler at 4 pm as I am going to the beach with grandson and his mum.Logan will be digging a big hole while I sit and watch him.Hopefully will go for a paddle in the sea.Roll my trouser legs up and in we go. :roflmao:

Think I will buy a fan and leave it on all night in my bedroom should be safe enough I would think.

I will give the NHS a call and see if they provide the domes for hearing aids,Amazon sell them but I don't know what ones i need.

Hope you have had a nice weekend Widget in your garden.

Hi all yes it has been 'hot' our bowls match today was cancelled, very pleased about that, so I went swimming in the pool not the sea, very nice, then sat in garden in shade, just watch tennis, I do love Wimbledon, been to water pots and garden,

When I get round to it I might contact hospital about changing my 'domes'.
Not doing a lot tomorrow, as it is still going to be hot, but think after that it might cool down a bit.

Good morning from sunny warm Kent. What I hate about this weather is the flies. There are flies around the rubbish bins,we have got flies downstairs as we come in the main entrance,so I tend to keep my mouth closed. There are 2 flats down there with 3 dogs and a couple of cats.

My grandson is on a school day trip to France hope he is enjoying it.He had to be at his school at 5 am this morning to get a coach to Dover,What a early get up. :roflmao:

He said he is going to play on his xbox when he gets home tonight I don't think he will,he will be too tired.

Home for the weekend for me.

Have a lovely weekend Widget.
