Hit Dita, chappie still doing garden, he is an excellent worker. Just a little more to do and then the lawns, Should be finished about five. He takes his loaf home and tells me he eats it all in one go.. Had time to kill so made another loaf for us. Had sausages in cider for lunch. Have you done that one, very tasty indeed. Sorry about the mix up, looks as tho; you are going to have another worrying morning. Asked son how he was feeling and he says, pleased it is out, everything. o.k. So, tell yourself, it will be worth it in the end. Pleaseddoggie enjoyed the walkies more hugs on the way. Take care cheers Penny

Oh, poor Dita! What a horrible disappointment, having to wait another 2 days. More sleepless nights and trips to the bathroom etc, etc... I feel for you, really, I do. I'd send Lucy Katt along to give you a soothing nuzzle but she's just come in because the sun seems to have disappeared for the day and is curled up in a chair as though she has no intention of moving again, not ever, not for anything ... except, possibly, sardines.

It's been a mostly lovely day here, a bit cold-ish but invigorating. I feel a bit guilty that I should have got out and done something instead of hanging around the house admiring it from inside. Maybe tomorrow, if it stays fine ...
Best wishes to all, human, feline and canine.

Hello Penny and all. chilly, dull day here, pleasant doggie walk she was happy to receive your hugs and sends you loads back today :) Son has had a break this week because of half term but his wife has been loaded down with meeting after meeting, she travels all over the place too, twice this week its been 10pm before home. To have checkup, tooth removed, new tooth and denture extension is £64, however in a couple of months I may have to have a new denture made, depends how I get on with the repaired one. It is NHS. Thanks for your thoughts tomorrow Penny I appreciate it. Keep your chin up :) take care.

Hello all, my p c was away for a few days being updated, and I don't think I said beforehand that I would be 'missing'. Good luck with the dentist today, Dita.

My garden escaped storm damage but I can't say the same for structurally, because the aeriel seems to be damaged. The main TV was knocked out on Monday morning, but the bedroom one was still OK ! Rather strange, so I did some viewing upstairs at first, if good programmes.

But from Wed until today, Charlie has been with me. His Daddy went home yesterday - work called. Charlie and my daughter will go at mid-day.

The computer arrived home in the midst of that, but till today Charlie wanted to be using it, once I had logged in to catch up on outstanding mail etc!

Hope everyone OK.

Hi all -
Glad you've got it over with & survived, Dita. Take it easy and rest up for the rest of today; these things take more out of you than you realise. :bighugs:
Weather's grey and drizzly here, one of those days when it never really got light and now it's getting dark.
I'm feeling tons better because I've just been to the hairdressers and got my unruly mop hacked back into shape. I never realise quite how bad I look until I look better but it grows so fast!. It's worse than the garden hedges  but Emma is brilliant. I think if I ever move away from this area, I'll have to keep coming back here for haircuts .....

Good morning Penny and all. Thanks Penny everything fine now, pleased the blooming thing gone. I find F1 very boring, hubby will be watching Rugby this afternoon, guess he'll also be keen on the motor racing too Grr! Its a murky day, could rain any minute, doggie had a breezy walkies, pleased to send you some hugs though thats for sure. Not managed to do much food shopping this week, could really do with a bit of a charge round the supermarket, not very enthusastic, Sat is not a good day for it. Probably better to remain cosy at home. Keep your chin up Penny :) take care, and everyone who pops in.
