Heartbreaking.

My granddaughter and d-i-l decided to take me out shopping on Tuesday and
I was really looking forward to having a spending spree because I am limited now
with going shopping unless someone is with me.
We called in for a meal first before setting off to look round the stores.
I had managed to buy some new curtains and we then decided go and look in BHS.
However my granddaughter's phone rang and as she listened she looked VERY concerned
and said to her Mum and I that her best friends mother had gone out at 7am that morning
and had not returned.
The poor woman had been suffering with depression from what I could gather and after losing her job
it must have put the lid on the how much more she could take so she wandered out.
The police were notified and many folk in the vicinity have been going round looking for her
including my granddaughter and her boyfriend because we went straight
home after the phone call for her to be with her best friend in her time of need.

The news came yesterday to say that she had been found but unfortunately she was dead.
It must be a terrible shock to the family and coming so soon after Christmas it must be hearbreaking for them all.
There are also two other children much younger than Tami's friend.
Granddaughter was still with her friend when she phoned me this morning.
They have known each other all their school lives and are more like sisters than friends.

Life can be a bitch at times.

So very sad. Often the festivities prove the tipping point, when people are depressed. So very difficult, for the whole family.

Yes its tragic.
My family went to church this afternoon to light a candle in remembrance of her because they knew her through the children becoming friends from when they first started school.
My son said that there were quite a few folks there lighting a candle in memory of her.

It is so sad.

My daughter in law's school gate friend took her kids to school, chatted to everyone as usual, then went home and hanged her self. She put a note through a friends door on the way home asking her to look after the kids.

How terrible to reach such depths.

Oh my stars Mazzy how dreadful.

It must be awful to get that low to do something like that especially when you have children. :(

In the case of my granddaughters friends mother they are not sure whether she had an asthma attack. Nothing will be properly revealed until the inquest. Its such a shame because granddaughters friend was at University and had come home for the Christmas holidays but she wont be going back now. She is the next of kin, because her mother wasn't married to the chap she had the two younger children by, so there will be a lot of things to sort out.
She is going to see if she can have a year out so I am hoping that this will happen.
I feel SO very sorry for her to have such a responsibility on her shoulders at such a young age.
