Are we the lucky ones?

Although some of the older generation have nothing much to do but moan, surely they have had a lot easier times than the young generation of today.
At least there were plenty of jobs around when I was younger. I was never short of getting a little part time job when my children were at school age. We could live in a council houses after being on the waiting list for two years. Also we are getting a government pension, free bus passes, free medication.
I wonder if the younger generation will get all of this in their retirement years. With the way things are. I doubt it.
